Is my file uploaded to a server?
No. The file is opened and rendered entirely in your browser. Nothing is uploaded or stored.
What is text mode?
Text mode extracts the PDF’s text and reflows it with your chosen font size and spacing, which is much easier to read on phones. Scanned PDFs without a text layer show no text.
Can I copy text from the PDF?
Yes. Select text directly on the page, or use text mode. Scanned pages are images and contain no selectable text.
Can it open password-protected PDFs?
Not yet. Remove the password in a PDF app first, then open the file here.
How do the readability settings work?
Adjust text size, line spacing, reading width, font, and color theme (paper, sepia, high contrast, or night). Only settings that affect the current view are shown, and your choices are remembered on this device.
