Is my file uploaded to a server?
No. The file is opened and rendered entirely in your browser. Nothing is uploaded or stored.
Does the document keep its exact Word layout?
No. The viewer focuses on readable content: headings, paragraphs, lists, tables, links, and images reflow to fit your screen. Page-exact layout, headers, and footers are not reproduced.
Why is there no outline for my document?
The outline is built from Word heading styles (Heading 1, 2, 3). Documents that use bold text instead of heading styles have no outline, and their headings appear as bold paragraphs.
Are old .doc files supported?
Only the modern .docx format is supported. Save older .doc files as .docx first.
How do the readability settings work?
Adjust text size, line spacing, reading width, font, and color theme (paper, sepia, high contrast, or night). Only settings that affect the current view are shown, and your choices are remembered on this device.
